KalYuga came for the first time, what had happened then !

After the war of Mahabharata, there was the kingdom of King Parikshit in Hastinapur. King Parikshit was the great-grandson of the Pandavas and the children of Abhimanyu and Uttara. KalYuga arrives for the first time in the time of King Parikshit. When King Parikshit asks about his introduction to KalYuga, he says, “I am KalYuga, this era is a time of change. In my time, sin (theft, robbery, cheating …) works. Will increase. “

Initially , King Parikshit does not give Kalyuga a place in his kingdom, then KalYuga says “Rajan is sure to come to me, so please please give me some place to live in your kingdom.” Then King Parikshit sets four places for Kalyug. 

1. The place where gambling is done.

2. Where wine is consumed.

3. In which place sin acts.

4. In gold.

After some time, when Raja Parikshit goes on a hunt, while playing hunting, he goes to  ashram of Shamik Rishi for drinking water . Because of Shamik Rishi sitting there in austerity, he does not realize the arrival of the king and nobody asks the king for posture and water. Raja Parikshit, who was a very benevolent king, was wearing a crown of gold at that time and due to the crown of gold, Kalyuga resides in him, due to which it makes the king feel insulted. Then King Parikshit goes to put a dead snake in the neck of Shamik Rishi.

On the other hand, Shringi Rishi, the young son of Shamik Rishi, went to bathe in the pool with his friends. Some of his friends there insult him and say that a king has gone insulting your father. Then the Shringi sage curses his youthfulness as “The person who insulted my father will die from the bite of the Takshaka Snake from today till the seventh day.”
